This is a before and after picture of a black, tole painted maple child's chair that was restored by Hander Woodworking. It carried great sentimental value for the client since it had initially been her mother's and then a generation later it had been the client's favorite chair when she was a child. It has been in her family for over ninety years. Along with the refinishing and painting, the chair was repaired and woven with a herring bone patter using binder cane.
